With the remote control, the brightness can be set to 50% or 100% using preset dimmer buttons. The optional timer feature allows the spotlight to automatically turn off after 15, 30, 60, or 120 minutes.

The remote control unit operates the portable reading spotlight within a range of 21ft using Infra Red technology, so it is important to point the remote at the lights without any physical obstructions. The spotlight can be easily installed using hook and loop tape or screws, and is powered by 3 AA batteries (not included) with a run time of 50 hours.
